BEAUTY TIPS FROM THE EXPERTS!!

JUICY LIPS

Q&A. We asked Sarah Jossel  beauty editor of Sunday Times Style what her must have lip products are.

Q. What would you recommend as a fail safe lip product?

The Burberry liquid lip velvet  has a Kylie Jenner liquid lip finish but without the flat flaky look and a bonus it stays on all day real bonus, fave colour is in black cherry is has a purple hue it's a little vamp.

Q. Winters here what is a good lip product to smooth dry lips?

I absolutely love Elizabeth Arden eight hour intensive lip repair balm it's the only balm that keeps my lips hydrated in the cold winter months.

For exfoliating I'm obsessed with nurse NU lips it's a genius way to exfoliate a dry patchy pout.

How to prevent lips getting dry

1. Drink plenty of water. Being dehydrated can cause dry, chapped lips. Try to increase the amount of water you drink to help keep your lips hydrated.

2.Turn on a humidifier at night—it helps keeps your lips (and skin) moisturised.

3. If you have flakey lips resist the urge to pick at them. Instead, soften them with lip balm and exfoliate the flakes off.

  GLOWING AND BRONZED

Q&A. Rebecca Wilson UK PR manager for The Communication Store lets us in on what the beauty editors are calling in at the moment.

Q: What is the best product all the journalists are calling in right now to get that summer glow in the during winter?

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow is always a favourite for beauty editors! Easy to use, gives you the lit-from-within glow which everyone wants

TAN-LUXE The Face is also very popular, it’s a natural tanning concentrate which you add to your usual moisturiser for a tailor-made natural glow. You can control how dark or light the tan is based on how many drops you add into your skincare! GENIUS.

Q: Which celebrity make up look should be we channelling right now?

Bella Hadid – always. She’s the master of soft-focus skin and a flattering feline flick. J.Lo is go-to for a glam event or night out.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is often referred to as "The Fountain of Youth"

 CLEAR SKIN

Q&A. We asked  Alexis Gilmore PR Manager for Clinique UK on her skin care tips for problematic dry patches.

Q. Reducing pores is something a lot of people have trouble reducing, what product would you recommend?

When is comes to reducing pores a liquid acid like salicylic is what i would suggest. Nip+Fab have cleansing pads that can be used in the morning and evening. Kiehsl also have a oil eliminating face cleanser.

What's a good face routine for dry patches?

A good face routine to help target dry patches is to use the Clinique sonic system purifying brush to exfoliate and cleanse and the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream on the dry patches.

Preventing Blemishes Before They Start

1. Identify blemish patterns on your face. Look at the way you hold the telephone, whether you sleep more on one side of your face or if you hold your head up with one hand when sitting. Try to avoid doing these things.

2.Go easy on he foundation. Using to much make up to cover up imperfections tends to clog pores and cause more blemishes. Try using a concealer with an ingredient like salicylic acid to help fight spots.

3. Breaking out? Use a deep-cleansing mask once a week to rid your skin of impurities and dead skin cells that may be clogging pores. Make sure you're using the right type of mask for your skin type.

Q&A. Samantha Silver, beauty director at Stylist magazine on how to get that Hollywood perfect eye.

It's pricey but Creme de le Mer Concealer is the ultimate - it's easy to apply, doesn't cake, crease or budge. And this is coming from a working mum! I'm onto my second.

Look more awake with nude liner.

Want to instantly brighten up your eyes, making them look wider and more awake? Apply a nude eyeliner pencil to your lower waterline. The muted neutral shade is less harsh than white eyeliner but it still makes your eyes appear larger.
